http://www.witness.org | Kelsey Cascadia Rose Juliana is 16-years old and from Eugene, Oregon. When Kelsey was young, she learned how polar bears were being impacted by climate change. She soon realized that just as polar bears are having to adapt, people are too. In the rainy state of Oregon, warmer temperatures resulting from climate change means more rain and less snow during the winter months. This change affects Oregon's water cycle. When precipitation falls in the form of snow, it stays on the ground throughout the Cascades melting slowly as winter turns to spring, then summer. When precipitation falls as rain, the water runs off immediately, it isn't stored for the summer months, it causes flooding and leaves forest drier for longer period of time. This, in turn, increases the risk...
Poetry reading: "Simple Trust" by Eugene Burden Open my eyes Father Let me see Your Plans for my life And ALL that I can be Give me Clarity I want to hear ONLY Your Voice Through my Spiritual ear In the face of negativity Let me NOT be dismayed Even when my Faith in You Is sarcastically downplayed Most of ALL Heavenly Father And with ALL of my heart Let me Trust You ALWAYS As I did from the start. In Jesus' Name. Amen. Proverbs 3:5,6 - Trust in the Lord with ALL thine heart and lean NOT unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path. This weekend there is so much going on in Oregon. Here are a few things to keep you busy, well fed and well educated. Oh, and you will also get the chance to help a lot of people.
This song was written the day I was informed that my father in law was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The doctors said there was nothing they could do and they gave him 2 months to live. A few weeks later, my wife was involved in a near fatal car accident where her SUV flipped several times on the highway. She walked away with a few cuts. In the midst of some very bad situations, God's message to me was simply to trust Him. My boy LaVelton Daniel II brought this song to life. He's on his way. I pray this song ministers to you.

The Wildlands Conservation Trust was founded in KwaZulu Natal, but they have since found their way to the Western Cape through an innovative project called the Indigenous Trees for Life Programme, in conjunction with PSG Konsult, PSG Konsult Corporate and Spier. This programme empowers local communities to grow their own trees for the upliftment of the community. At the same time they also contribute to the environment by assisting, amongst others, with reforestation projects.
